  1. Hello, I'm having an issue exporting from an iReport to an Excel format. I have seen other threads regarding this topic, but I did not find the offered solutions very helpful. I'm using JRXlsExporter as seen here: JRXlsExporter exporterXLS = new JRXlsExporter(); exporterXLS.setParameter(JRXlsExporterParameter.JASPER_PRINT, print); exporterXLS.setParameter(JRXlsExporterParameter.OUTPUT_STREAM, output); exporterXLS.exportReport(); But this error occurs during exportReport(): java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.apache.poi.hssf.usermodel.HSSFSheet.setColumnWidth(II)V I have tried updating my jasperreports jar (which has been the general wisdom to fix this) to both poi-3.1-FINAL.jar and poi-3.5-beta1.jar, but neither have corrected the problem. setColumnWidth is depreciated, but where might I turn to find a jar or resource that has addressed this issue? I'd appreciate any comments or help. Curt
  2. The difference is $P! can hold an entire SQL statement. For example: select * from students where id = $P{student_id} vs select * from students $P!{student_id_condition} we might define student_id_condition as "where id = 1"
  3. Hello. I am working on a project where four labels overlap. Each label will be printed on a mutually exclusive value. Easy enough, right? Well, at design time, the top label is not consistent. I can't find a property that controls which label appears on top, and I want it to be consistent. And of all things that you'd expect to be consistent, copy/past produces a new different top color. Anyone know how to control this? Curt
