I have created a line chart in iReport. When reviewing chart for all business line, I have a contiguous line; however when charting an individual business, the lines are broken. My problem must be with null values for a particular month. How do I create a formula so that the line would plot a zero value therefore creating a contiguous line. My formula does not work: new Integer($V{month_COUNT}!= null ? $V{month_COUNT} : 0 ). Please let me know what I'm doing wrong. I have attached the pdf file of the Chart.

Okay, thanks, One last question for today In my report, I'm comparing 2008 to 2009, If I wanted to make the year dynamic so that the report can be used next year. Is there a date function ie current yr -1 = 2008
