Hello everyone, i'm using JasperServer 3.5.0 deployed on a JBoss 5.1.0.GA. On the same JBoss i have several stateless ejb sessionbeans deployed. The session beans provide methods to fetch data from the database, e.g. getMeasures(from, to) to get a collection of measures in a given time period. What i want, is to use these sessionbeans as data sources to create my reports. At this point i am a little stuck. Can i write a custom data source that has the complete session bean in it and call the methods within the report or must i provide a datasource for every collection the beans return? I'm also not sure how i can pass the parameter values like the time period e.g. I hope someone can give me a little advice on how this custom data source thing works. I appreciate your help...
