  1. Richard, It was a while ago now, and I'm afraid I no longer have that solution to hand, but from memory I think the solution was to create the Report with the Control in iReport, including the default value and then publish it to the repository. This is as oppoded to creating the Control in JasperReports. Sorry not to be of more help. Stuart
  2. I would be very grateful for any help with this: I am running Jasper Report 3.1 and iReport 3.1.2. I have just written a simple report using iReport which requires a prompt for its one parameter. I have added it to the repository and added the required input control; it works fine when testing it with Jasper Reports. But when I add it to the Dashboard (using the Dashboard Designer), a message appears saying "The report is missing default values for at least one mandatory parameter". This message is still displayed when I add in the input_control from the 'Single Report Controls" section together with the Submit and Reset buttons. In the report itself, I have defined a default expression for the report's parameter. So, I can't work out what is going wrong. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Stuart
  3. Actually, I have found the problem now: the URL should be: http://localhost:8080/jasperserver-pro/services/repository Thanks very much for your help.
  4. Thanks for replying to my question. Yes, you were right, I did not have the correct URL (it should be http://localhost:8080/jasperserver-pro and not http://localhost:8080/jasperserver). So, thank you for that. But now I get I different error when I try to browse the repository from within iReport - the error is: (302)Moved Temporarily Yes, I can login to JasperServer Pro normally using Internet Explorer so I assume the the Apache Tomcat must be OK. Stuart
  5. I have just installed Jasper Server Pro and iReport 3.1.2 onto the same PC (running XP). iReports seems to work fine, as does Jasper Server Pro. However in iReports, I cannot add the repositoryinto the Repository Navigator. I press the 'add new server' button and leave the URL as the default (which is http://localhost:8080/jasperserver/services/repository) and enter jasperadmin as both the usernname and password. Then when I try open the respository it I get the 404 error. If I look under the Tools/Options area, the Jasperserver plugin is installed. Does anybody have any ideas ? I would be grateful of any help as I am new to Jasper reports. Stuart
