I am having a background band in 1sr jrxml, and i need a rectangle to be placed in the background of 2nd jrxml. Will this work in jasper, Can anybody gives me suggestions about this. Thanks in advance

I had an issue in which one jrxml contains rectangle and records are to be displayed in the rectangle. The problem is for every record the jrxml is taking the new page while generating the output, and leaving the space of the rectangle as empty, I want that empty space to be filled by the next records. Please help in this query. Thanks in advance.
