I switched to Jasper Reports 3.0 and POI 3.0. This combination seems to work so far.

jasper reports 3.1.2 with poi 3.0.1 for Excel HELP!!!! I am having a problem generating excel reports with jasper reports 3.1.2 and poi 3.0.1-FINAL version. I have about 5000 rows of data. I am getting the following error message when I open up the generated Excel file: "Damage to the file was so extensive that repairs were not possible. Excel attempted to recover your formulas and values, but some data may have been lost or corrupted." and when the file opens I see that some of the data is corrupted. Should I be using some other version of JasperReports or POI? Please HELP!!!
