  2. Thanks for your answer. I would like to use a product name a parameter for a report. My need is : - a first input control which is a text control - a second input control is a drop down list based query control which is using the first parameter in order to find products whose the name match the text. Then a product is selected and is used for the report. Example : In the first control I enter "Jasp". Then the second control proposes a list of product begin by "Jasp" (JasperReport, JasperAnalysis ...) I select "JasperAnalysis" and the report is lauched which "JasparAnalysis" as parameter. I know how to used the different type of input control, but I don't know how to link the second input control with the first input control. I even don't know if it is possible.

Is it possible to have 2 input controls for a report : 1- one text input 2- one query input who search in a database records matching text input For example : In the text input, "Jasper" is entered in input text control, the query input control propose only all products begining by "Jasper" (i.e. JaspertReport, JasperAnalysis, JasperServer ...) Thanks in advance.
