  1. i don't have sure if i understand what you need. But... if it was what i am thinking, you need to pass your own values to jasperreports instead of taking them from a database? if that's the case, this link helped me solve that problem: http://www.jasperassistant.com/forum/topic/823/simple_subreport_example_using_several?p3 the question on this link is about subreports, but they construct datasets "by hand" and perhaps this can solve your problem. if i understand wrong what you need... please try to tell in a diferent way :)
  2. Hi, I would like to save in database and in hard drive respectively the data responsible for generating each report (like queries, userIDs, data of the request, from witch machine IP, etc) AND the PDF generated as the result of the process for log purposes. How to do that with JasperServer? can someone point me the rigth way? I have seen that i have some customization options but all to the datasource resource. (not my case, i think) Is there any "event" that i could capture to apply code? like an "onBeforePrint" and put there my code to save the log? I know that i could do this in all my separatted applications but i think its better idea to centralize this. Expecially if i have already a report server. any help will be VERY appreciated. thanks! - Luis Eduardo.
