No it is different. In the post it is mentioned as delayed redraw . But in my case even it is not resizing. Today I noticed two things. One is to expand the last column, I had to click and drag the border twice. Another is to shrink the column, I first tried to expand the column with one click and drag. The second time I clicked and dragged to shrink the column. It worked. To check this create a cross tab in the main report and go to the 'Corsstab 1' tab. There try to do this with the last column.

Hi, I have used the same procedure as you mentioned earlier. But I am getting net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRException: Error retrieving field value from bean exception. Can you tell me what may be the problem? Thanks in advance. Ramesh

One more thing what I found is that if we use Subdataset instead of report dataset, there wont be any repetition. But the report query should have a dummy data. In this case there is no need to place the sub report in summary. You can place it in the detail itself.

I also faced the same problem. If the subreport / crosstab is placed in summary, it will not repeat. But still which is not clear to me is if the sub report is placed in summary and have more than a page, how can we display the page number?

I am using iReport 3.1.2. I have created a cross tab. When I tried to expand or shrink the last column and row, it was not happening. When I tried repeatedly, it occured once a while. Sometimes it didn't. Then I opened the report in 2.0.5 and resized the column and row. Is it a bug or is there any problem with my installation? If any one had come across this issue please let me know. Also sometimes if I open the existing report a NullPointerException error dialog opens and the desingner displays nothing. The textAlignment property of the textfield shows null in the XML file. After changing this the designer displays properly. What may be the reason.
