Hi, i am using iReport 3.1.3 on Windows. i tried to use my old reports but i have some trouble with this. In iReport 3.0.0 i marked my parameters as isForPrompting="true" In the xml-view, this option is not there, if i open the report. If i use the preview-view there is no prompting for the parameter but ireport tells me in the properties for every parameter: Use as a Prompt: true I have to add the isForPrompting="true" option manualy to the xml-file in the xml-view. Now iReport prompts for the parameter if i use preview. Everything seems fine, but after the input of the las parameter there is no report generated, there is no preview, ireports jumps directy to the Designer-view. I tried the pdf-preview and the internal-preview, no change. My Database-Connection is working, i did the connection-test with ireport. Whats wrong with my installation? Why is the isForPrompting option not recognized loading the report the first time after starting ireport? Why is the preview not working? Kind regards Markus

Hi, i am not able to create a sql statement with IN. i am using iReport 3.0.0 and i have defined a Parameter "lieferscheine" as "java.util.collection" My report query looks like the following: select id, lieferschein, name as material, nummer as material_id, eu_bezeichnung, eu_nummer, beschreibung as einheit_lang, me_einheit as einheit, bezeichnung as baustelle, baustellennummer as baustelle_id, eingang, ausgang, richtung, case spezial is true when true then 0 when false then differenz end as differenz, differenz as differenz_orig, kundennummer, akt_firmenname, akt_firmenname2, strasse, hausnummer, plz, ort, freibau, abbau, keine_fracht, mwst, nettopreis, bruttopreis, nettogesamt, mwstgesamt, bruttogesamt, erstellt_am, spezial, case anzahl_stueck is null when true then 0 when false then anzahl_stueck end as anzahl_stueck from view_lieferschein where lieferschein <> 0 and ueberpruefung_ok = true and kundennummer = $P!{kundennummer} and id IN ($P!{lieferscheine}) order by baustellennummer This query is not working, if i execute the report in ireport, ireports prompts for all the parameters. $P!{kundennummer} is an integer, i am using e.g.104 $P!{lieferscheine} is a collection, i am using e.g. 14,15,16,17 This is the error i get, in my opinion the query ireport is generating, is not working. Hi, i am using iReport 3.0.0 with jasperreports 3.0.0 and itext 1.3.1 (jasperreports and itext is shipped with iReport) If i create a Report in A4 Portrait, i am able to print this report with JasperViewer in Portrait. If i create a Report in A4 Landscape, JasperViewer still prints this Report in Portrait. It does not matter if i change the settings in the printdialog. In JasperViewer the Report shows up correctly. If i create a Report in A5 Landscape, JasperViewer shows the Report correctly, but if i try to print this Report with JasperViewer from iReport, the Report is printed in Portrait. I have already changed the papersize in the printdialog, i changed the orientation in the printdialog but iReport and JasperViewer prints the Report always in Portrait. Is it not possible to print with Jasperreports and iReport in Landscape? If it is possible, what have i done wrong? Kind Regards Markus
