  1. I want to create dashboard in iReport. Does anyone know how to do it? I need it very urgent. Please help me! I searched the forum, all questions about dashboard were no answer! Does that means iReport can't generate dashboard? I saw there will be one webinar about "generate dashboard driven report" on 20, August 2008. It mentioning could generate dashboard in iReport using sub-report feature. That is what I want to know, but that webinar is a little bit late. My requirement is urgent! I am eager to know the answer how I could drill down to sub-report when I click a portion of pie chart. I saw iReport chart had a "section hyperlink", that means if I want to drill down to my sub-report, I have to redirect request to another web page which would print out my sub-report? Can I just specify my sub-report file name in this "section hyperlink" , only after I click the section, sub-report would be generated then. Please help!
  2. I used iReport2.0.5 to design and generate report file. "Ignore Pagination=true" works fine for small report in both HTML and PDF format. I had a small report about 2-3 pages, PDF display ok when I set "Ignore Paginatio=true", it display all data in one page. When I had a bigger report about more than 10 pages, if I set "Ignore Pagination=false", it display ok in PDF with page break. but if I set "Ignore Paginatio=true", HTML format display ok (get all data display in one page), but in PDF I got a blank page! I used iReport JasperViewer to view report, then save report in different foramt like HTML, PDF etc. But bigger report in PDF format with "Ignore Paginatio=true" gives me blank page. What is wrong here? Did I do something wrong or it is a bug? Please help! I really need "Ignore Pagination" report in PDF format! Thanks! Post edited by: kaymenji, at: 2008/06/25 18:08

  4. Nobody knows? Can iReport generate multiple reports per run?
  5. I wonder if iReport could do this? I have a project need to generate multiple report files based a SQL query. For example: select distinct CARD_ID from CARD_HOLDER_TABLE This SQL will return me a few CARD_ID. I would like to generate per report file(trasaction records) per CARD_ID, like report_CARD_ID1.pdf, report_CARD_ID2.pdf ... Is it possible?
  6. I encountered the same problem when I am uploading my .jrxml report file with a scriptlet class to ZuckerReports. I got this exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: it/businesslogic/ireport/IReportScriptlet I fixed it by copying iReport.jar file to sugarCRM/htdocs/modules/ZuckerReports/jasper folder. And it works!
  7. I resolved it by changing the detail band height to a smaller number in "View->band" in iReport. Thanks!
  8. I am using iReport2.0.5 design my report. The data would be displayed in a landscape page in a table. I totally has 4 rows of data(excluding column header). But the report generated out is only display 2 rows data per page. And the next 2 row data has jumped to a new page although first page still got a lot of space allow them to display there. I don't want to use "Ignore Pagination", as my future report will have multiple pages. What I want is just to let the data to display as full as possible per page so that the layout won't be so ugly(only displaying 2 rows per page leaving a lot of space wasted there).
  9. Hi, I fixed by replacing the jasperreports-2.0.5.jar with jasperreports-2.0.1.jar under folder /sugarcrm/htdocs/sugarcrm/modules/ZuckerReports/jasper. And now it works! Hope it helps whoever interested.
  10. I am using iReport, when I set border width >0, when uploading the my .jrxml file to SugarCRM5.0.0b, I got the following exception: Code: SEVERE: Parse Error at line 97 column 126: Element type "topPen" must be declared. org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Element type "topPen" must be declared. at org.apache.xerces.util.ErrorHandlerWrapper.createSAXParseException(Unknown Source) at org.apache.xerces.util.ErrorHandlerWrapper.error(Unknown Source) at org.apache.xerces.impl.XMLErrorReporter.reportError(Unknown Source) at org.apache.xerces.impl.XMLErrorReporter.reportError(Unknown Source) at org.apache.xerces.impl.dtd.XMLDTDValidator.handleStartElement(Unknown Source) at org.apache.xerces.impl.dtd.XMLDTDValidator.emptyElement(Unknown Source) at org.apache.xerces.impl.XMLDocumentFragmentScannerImpl.scanStartElement(Unknown Source) at org.apache.xerces.impl.XMLDocumentFragmentScannerImpl$FragmentContentDispatcher.dispatch(Unknown Source) at org.apache.xerces.impl.XMLDocumentFragmentScannerImpl.scanDocument(Unknown Source) at org.apache.xerces.parsers.XML11Configuration.parse(Unknown Source) at org.apache.xerces.parsers.XML11Configuration.parse(Unknown Source) And I search some threads here, some people also got this error when they set border width. Any idea how to work around this in SugarCRM with ZukcerReports? Thanks!
