BR, Richard P.S.: until now I never have data in the charts, referring to subdatasets. I have used definition "$P{REPORT_DATA_SOURCE}" as datasource. Hello all, iReport gives the means to define a SubDataset. But there is no way to use the SubDataset in any way :( (it never holds any data ... even the Examples in the manual don't work xD ) Is there a time point known when it will be implemented ??? BR, nexi

Hello all, i am developing some iReport Plugin. using: MainFrame.setConnections(Connections); MainFrame.setActiveConnection(IReportConnection); MainFrame.newReport(); to have a new Report opened and associated with a datasource. How do i "import" the fields (given in ActiveConnection) into the document-structure?????? Best regards, Richard
