  1. I need the box of Field A to match of Field B. Field B has beeen checkmarked 'Stretch with overflow' to allow for long lines of text. This field is calling a record from the database, but field A is static text. Is there a way to make the height of field A = height of Field B? Please refer to the attached image: [file name=height_problem.jpg size=6813] Post edited by: ladydisdain, at: 2008/04/30 19:15 Post edited by: ladydisdain, at: 2008/04/30 21:56
  2. I have a report with a subreport. Here is a description of the layout: Title band: static text and text fields page Header: more static text and text fields detail band: subreport is here (subreport information: column header informatio: static text fields w/ titles, detail band: has the fields which will be repeated) summary band: more static text and text fields all other bands are 0. When I compile this report, everything up to the subreport shows on one page. The subreport's alignment is off. It is shifted to the right. Then everything in the band's after the subreport is printed on a separate page. The report should all be in one page. All the bands that I am not using are defined as size 0 and no extra space are in the bands. Any suggestions?

  6. I have a subreport within the middle of my main report. The subreport is entirely in the detail band of the main report, with titles in the column header. When I compile the report, everything up to the subreport displays on one page, then half of the page is blank, and the rest of the information shows up on the other page. I need the information all on one page. Any ideas why this spacing issue happens? Thanks.
  7. Thanks. It does. I'd think that would be the default! So obvious ... and overlooked. I appreciate you for responding!!
  8. Okay, so of all the things that I could possibly have problems with, I now take dragging for granted. I literally cannot click and drag anything on the report. I can click and drag my fields/parameters onto the report but then cannot click them and drag them where I want to. I have to use the arrow keys ( ) and the hot keys only do so much. Any idea? Please help! Really enjoy iReport - just want to click and drag to continue making my reports!! I have tried uninstalling/installing java versions. The version I have is jdk.1.5.0_07 I also installed/uninstalled iReport. No change. Please help... Thanks in advance!
