Hello, I am experiencing a similar (if not same) problem. Brand new installation of JasperServer 3.7.1 on fresh Debian Lenny. Default install of all components, except used the existing MySQL installation. Report runs perfectly on JasperServer. However any "intpu control" that is added to the report throws the null pointer exception when i try to execute the report after adding the input. I have tried very combinations of settings for this input control using the web interface to edit the report. All result in same exception being raised once i click on the report. I am not even shown the input control when trying to run the report.. just the error. It does not matter if i use a local or repository defined input control, or if i use seperate or popup or visible mandatory.. regardless of the setting i get the error when i try to run the report. If anyone has any ideas on how to work around this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.
