  1. Re: "The Virtualizer doesn't help until you set the jasper report properties "isUsingCache" to false and "isLazy" to true." I don't know for sure, but I believe the properties she is referring to get set on the image element(s) in the report. Post Edited by darbvin at 05/24/2012 01:34
  2. Recently formatted my desktop and installed Windows 7 x64. Installed iReport, and seemed to run fine, but went into Tools - Options to add a jar to the classpath for my database driver, and it locked up. Nothing seems to help, does it repeatedly. Task Manager says its using ~200MB of RAM, and 50% CPU, but it doesn't appear to be doing anything. It is stuck on the "browse" window that allows me to find a jar in my file system. After a few seconds, it comes back to responding, so I click on a folder to drill down toward my jar, and that locks it up again. It never opens the folder, won't let me cancel, won't let me exit. I have to kill the process. I have tried 3 versions of iReport hoping for something to work: 3.6.1, 3.7.0, and now 3.7.1 - all behave identically. I have the latest JRE - 6u18. I can't do anything if I can't connect to my database. Thanks in advance for any assistance!
