HI, thanks for your feedback, in jasperserver folder there is no log file , i think i've found more infos in tomcat localhost file, but there is a question i wish to understand, i have installed tomcat 10 with Jasper 8.2, is this certified ? where could i find an updated certificatin matrix ? I'm uploading localhost file for you to see what kind of errors ii have. Thanks Dario

HI, i'm new to this product and i'm trying to understand if it's really what i need. I've downloaded the ireport (not plugin) to make some tests but now i have some questions. 1) How can i deploy the reports so that users can access them as http://myappsserver/..... 2) i have to pass some parameters to the reports, is it possible? 3) Is it possible to decide output (printer or file) at runtime? 4) someone says that it is better to have the reports loaded in the repository and not in file system, so is it possible to have the repository on Oracle 10 db ? Please give me an answer, thanks

Hi, i'm new to Jasper world so i'm testin Jasper report with Ireport 2.01 frontend. I've created some simple report and now i need to "deploy" them to an application server. I've read about Jasper report so i've installed in a test machine but now my problems are: 1) how can i deploy the reports developed by Ireport version 2.01 on my notebook 2) how can i launch those reports directly from my application? and also i have to pass some parameters to the reports, is it possible ? Hi all, i'm very new to jasper report and Ireport too, i need to solve a problem. I'm working on a subreport that has to execute a query with a between condition and the min and max values should come from a query in the master report. I've followed the help so i've created parameters in the subreport definition with name MIN1 MAX1 and default value $F{MIN1} and $F{MAX1}, then in the subreport query i've inserted where CCF_ID between to_number (${LMIN1}) and to_number(${LMAX1}) and created 2 new parameters.But i've an error about Token sql92 not supported when i try to save the query. Without the where condition the report works fine. Where is my error ? Thanks.

Hi all, i'm searching for a reporting tool to use with an Oracle database and i'm very new to Ireport, . My problem is to know if a can make with Ireport what customer needs. All the reports are required to have this structure: In the page header a logo derived from a path resulting from a query, the query has an input parameter indicating the customer ID. Inside this master query i need to have another query based on 5 parameter,this query reads the limits for the nested queries used to retrieve the real data and this query should be a master detail or some more subreports or nested queries. Yes it seems to be complex but it is very simple.I think i should use subreports BUT at the moment i'm not sure if this is the right way and if it is possible to do could anybody help me please?
