My requirement falls under second case. But the issue is I won't be aware of all columns at design time. I have to get the result set and based on the results in the result set I have to add the columns to the jrxml.

Is it possible to implement dynamic cross tabs using Jasper and iReport? We have a requirement where the sales details needs to be forecasted for a particular product month wise for the duration selected by the user.For e.g reporting the sales quantity of product A from AUG 2006 to JUN 2007. Please let me know whether it is possible to meet above such requirements using Jasper.

Hi All, Can anyone please let me know whether it is possible to add a new column to the jrxml obtained by using the iReport tool? If yes, please let me know the details for doing so. I need to implement a requirement which requires adding columns to the report after the result set is obtained. Regards, Raja
