Hi all, I am faced with this problem while exporting my report (*.jasper) files into Excel format using the JRXlsExporter. The final output resulted in a column missing or rather one column turned blank. Using the same jasper file when I tried exporting in PDF format I do not encounter such a problem. Why is that so? Anyone can help me with this? Thanks.

this seems to be a common problem.... i am facing it myself.... are there any "cures" for it??? thanks

i found others with similar problems but with no replies.... am i to say that there is'nt a solution as yet to this issue??..

Hi all, I have a master report which comprises of several sub reports. I have made it such a way that every sub report will be printed in a new page. Each of these sub reports comprises of a page footer. The page footer is not printed at the foot of the page but printed just below where the details band of the sub report ends. How can I make the page footer sits at the bottom of the master report??... pls help... thanks!

hihi.. i have generated a report with multiple sub reports.... problem now is there is always a blank page at the end of the report generated.... is there a way for me to remove it??.. what have i done wrong?? thanks...

Hi all, is it possible to access an arraylist that is stored in an VO passed in as Datasource??.... By using $F{xxx} you are able to access a parameter in the VO but if there's an arraylist of another VO stored in the VO passed in... is it possible to use $F{xxx.yyy.zzz} to iterate through the arraylist and printing out the parameters in each of the VOs stored in the arraylist in the original VO passed in???... thanks!

i have tried that.... strange thing is no matter how many new items (eg static text box) added to the report.... the file size of the pdf generated by my application is still the same size.

Hi all, I created a sample report using ireport.. compiled with no problem.... coded my application to generate it.... but it returns a totally blank report(pdf format).... with no error messages shown/thrown.... any one knows what went wrong??....
