Adding filter in adhoc report created from domain throws error

Hi Olga, Thanks for your response. I tried support, but was researching in parallel. I finally found the issue. Although Jasper does validation while using the Domain Designer, it did not do the same for spaces and hyphens when a Domain XML was uploaded. These characters in the "id" attribute was causing this issue. Once I replaced them with _, I did not have the issue. Thanks, Nikita -
Hi, I am using Jasperserver Pro 4.7.0, with MySQL DB. I have created a domain, from which I created a topic. When using this topic in the Adhoc Designer to create a new report, and on trying to add a filter (Note: this column had null values for all the records in the DB), I get this error for some of the fields: 2013-02-27 21:08:34,475 ERROR AdhocAjaxController,catalina-exec-14:1362 - Fatal exception caught when adding filter to state java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException It seemed to be occuring when the SQL (to show filter data) returned one record with a value of null (instead of 0 records) This column is of type TEXT. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can give me any pointers in case they have seen this issue before. Thanks, Nikita

Hello Sherman, I am not sure how exactly I need to run the ji-import-util.bat? Should I just double click on it? What will be the result of running that script? Where would the sample data files/folders be created? Moreover, in a JBoss deployment, where should I place these sample data files/folders? in Jboss/default/deploy/jasperserver.war? I used the Analysis workbench to create an OLAP schema file. So I believe it is valid. I am using MySQL database. On the Jasperserver I created a Mondrian connection and uploaded my validated schema file. Thanks, Nikita

Hello everyone, I used the 'JasperServer War File Install Guide' as reference to deploy jasperserver1.2.1 in JBoss. I have successfully got the server up and running and the JDBC connections made. But I was not able to import the sample data. Moreover I created the following resources using the Web UI: 1. Mondrian connection 2. JDBC Data Source and 3. An Analysis View But when I click on the Analysis View, I get the following exception: Exception Information Exception Class: class javax.servlet.jsp.JspException Message: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: bean "${requestScope" not found I would truly appreciate any pointers or suggestions on which config files I should check or any other changes that I may need to make.
