No, I can´t. I need the value in a variable, not in a text field in the report. The question is to have the number of total pages in a variable for do something in a scriptlet, not for display the value with a text field in the report. Thanks ;)

Hi all. I know how to print the "page x of y" in a iReports report. But I need to get the total number of pages of a report in a variable to make some changes in a portion of java code and some other things... Can somebody help me? Thanks a lot ;)

Ok, thanks. At the moment it can be a valid solution, but anyway I need to be able to make this modification i fact, I´ll need to be able to modify the JSP input parameters page, for some others questions. Thanks a lot for your fast reply ;)

I need to be able to modify single-select query input control. I explain myself: I need to add to the list of values that gives back the SQL query a static "added by hand" value. In example: If the SQL query returns these values['1', '2', '3', ...], I need to be able to add at the beginning of those values the value '0' or any other arbitrary value, that I want. Then, when the user executes the report, in the list of possible values that will be able to select, they will also appear the values that I have added in addition of whom the SQL query returns. Is possible to do that? where do i must to do the changes, to be able to do that? Some one can help me, or tell me where to start probing? Thanks a lot ;)

Hi until now, I have been working with iReports and a Oracle database and it was working fine. But now I need to connect iReports to a ALLBASE database for develop some important reports and can´t connect to the database because I have not JDBC drivers to connect from iReports to the ALLBASE database. - somebody knows where to find them? - can I connect iReports to the ALLBASE database with my ODBC drivers? Thanks a lot ;)

Hi, one comment about IE7 and direct URL report execution: If you try to execute a report using direct report URL like: http://200.0.0.216:9090/jasperserver/flow.html?_flowId=viewReportFlow&reportUnit=/reports/license/lic_activas&output=pdf Firefox execute it well and open the pdf file, but IE7 don´t do it. The Solution I found: In the Internet security options menu, by default the fourth option of the "Automatization" section is disabled. Enabling it IE7 execute the direct report URL without probelms. Somebody have experimented someting similar?? ;)

Hi. I´m testing jasperserver and iReports. I like the jasperserver a lot but I have some questions about the final user interface. It seems that the jasperserver allow us to execute the reports using his web-based interface. But I think this is not a very good way because is not pretty and not sufficient friendly. For the final user report´s execution: - What is the best solution? - Must I to build my own web-client solution? - which client are you using for remotely reports execution? Thanks a lot, sorry for my english :P
