  2. Thank you. I'm looking for more informal description which describes how engine renders those elements. It is not possible to write converter not knowing the exact meaning and rendering rules of report elements. Microsoft has such description for RDL format freely available at http://www.microsoft.com/sql/technologies/reporting/rdlspec.mspx Where to find similar description for JasperReports?
  3. I want to create converter which converts my VFP report layout files to jasperreports format. I havent found jasper report format description. Where to download report file format description ? Andrus.
  4. I havent found any solution. It seems that it is not possible to use PostgreSQL from JasperReports. Do you know good report designer which supports Postgres ?

I changed "JDBC URL" field in Connection Properties to jdbc:postgresql://postgresql-8.2-504.jdbc4.jar but clicking test button still shows ClassNotFoundError postgresql-8.2-504.jdbc4.jar file is specified in classpath and copied to iReport lib directory.   7. I selected this driver but clicking Test button causes erorr ClassNotFoundError! Msg: org.postgresql.Driver This class may not have been found: org.postgresql.Driver Check your classpath.
