  1. Hi All, We are using Jasper Reports as our reporting tool. Our server goes down once in two days with out-off Memory error. Jasper Version - jasperreports-1.1.1 We are using WebSphere as a J2EE server (version: 5.1.1.8, Build no: cf80548.03) Our WebSphere setup has two clusters. Initially my application was not on cluster but because of this problem, we tried putting it on cluster. Problem is not solving. It’s just that user will not see the down time as it switches to the running cluster when one is down. But the server is going down with out-off memory and in long run it's affecting the application performance. My application has: • My application has around 45 reports • Most of reports as database reports except 5 to 6 (they are XML data source based). • Almost all of the reports available to general users are simple reports (no heavy database queries) • None of the XML data source based reports are available to general users (They are not day-to-day reports). • Only one report is using sub-reports • I have checked the Queries and they are not taking time to execute. • I have checked that there are no memory leaks in my web-application • Our reports are exported to PDF and HTML format • PDF is the widely used format Jasper Version - jasperreports-1.1.1 (very old but we have around 40-45 reports so till now we have not decided that we will upgrade) My questions are 1. Is this particular version compatible with our WebSphere version? 2. Can I do something tuning / settings on server side / Jasper side so that it will use the hard-disk space as the memory? 3. Are there any known memory leaks when you are using database or XML data source based reports? 4. Or any other solution 5. Jasper Version - jasperreports-1.1.1 (very old but we have around 40-45 reports so till now we have not decided that we will upgrade) Please provide solution / thoughts / inputs on this issue. Your inputs will be of great help for me. Regards,
