  1. We're having this same problem (only on Macintosh?)
  2. I'm having major issues displaying styled text in a report viewer in Mac OSX 10.4.8. The styled text appears either too far left or two far right, sometimes smashing into the previous word and other times leaving large gaps. The amount of space varies, and the direction varies by font. Attached is an image of the problem area. The font is Times New Roman. You can see the word "typical" has been smashed leftward. The fragment "actually does" appears in the correct spot, but the phrase "is able to", on the same line, is obviously compressed. All these sentences contain single-spacing between words in the source. Also note that the text is specified as "Justified" in the JRXML, but does not display that way. Can anyone else confirm having this problem? Does anyone have any ineresting solutions? -Brandon Tracy http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/5636/mactext1zx0.th.png Post edited by: tracbt, at: 2007/01/05 18:41 Post edited by: tracbt, at: 2007/01/05 18:42
  3. Is there an estimate on when 1.3.0 will actually be downloadable? It's been labelled as being updated/edited all day, and therefore unaccessible for download.
  4. I have a paragraph using justified text. Within this paragraph is a single italicized word. With the same JRXML and same Font (copied from one machine to the other) I get entirely different results. On the Windows machine everything looks fine. The text is justified and the italics look great. On the Macintosh the text appears Left-Aligned - EXCEPT the italicized word. The italicized word is crammed halfway into another word, overwriting the tail end - I believe this is because the italicized word is treating the line as if it has been justified. If the non-stylized text were also justified, it would probably line up. Is this a known issue? Has anyone encountered similar problems? Is there a known workaround? -Brandon Tracy Edit- I was wrong, if the italicized text were treating the line as justified, it would appear even further to the right, but it is instead too far to the left. Edit- Even set to Left-Aligned the mac's styled text gets smashed. Post edited by: tracbt, at: 2006/12/29 16:16
