Hy, I have one problem regarding the ordering of columns and rows in a crosstab. I used for row and column groups in the bucket expression an object that implements Comparable. Everything works fine the order of the column and row headers is the desired one ,but the problem is with the data cells (detail/detail) that is rendered only for the first crosstab row and for the rest of rows is empty. Has anybody encontered the same problem and could give me a solution/explication.? Thanks, Cristina

What I am trying to do is to set the style of the cell (backcolor)depending on the value of the textField element .I can't use conditional styles because I do not know how many colors I have to display This is why I thought I could change somehow the cell style using the <style> tag.I tried <style backcolor="red"> $F{displayValue}</style> as textExpression but the color is not apllied to the entire element :(. Hi, It is possible to set the parent element style using the style of the child element? I have a crosstab cell and I want to set its style dynamicaly using the style tag in the TextElement that is inside the crosstab cell(detail/detail). Regards, Cristina

Hy, I use a crosstab element in mai report,and in one of the cell(is the detail/detail cell) I want to put a background color that is dependent of one field value. For example I have $F{displayColor} field and I want to do something like this <style backcolor="$F{displayColor} ">Some text </style> but in this case the display color covers only the "Some text" area and I want it to cover the entire tectElement that contains the value "Some text" I can't use images because I would have to many images...I don't know exactly what colors would be displayed as these are dependent of field value Regards, Cristina

Hy, I have the same problem, to set the backcolor to the entire detail/detail cell(inside cell is a text element),using crosstab element .The problem is that the color codes to be used as backcolor are comming from a database and are changind often and so the conditional styles can't de used. I tried with sytle tag but is not working :( Do you have any idea ,to be implemented when the number of colors is big (there could be 20 colors or more to be used for each crosstab cell)?
