I have report that needs to display the current date in different formats based on whether the report is dislayed in English or French. For English the display pattern needs to be "MMMM dd, yyyy". For French the display pattern needs to by "dd MMMM yyyy". Is there a way selecting the date pattern based on locale?

Setting the calculation type to "System" worked perfectly. Would never have thought to try it. Thank you.

I have written an afterGroupInit scriptlet which assigns a value to a variable. The variable can be displayed on the group header, but is null on the group footer.
