  1. Hi, I am building a POC and I have made changes to the UI of the portal, but I can't find how to remove the Jaspersoft Welcome meddage that turns up on the login.html page, how can I remove this, we are building the POC for bundling purposes. Cheers, Eric

Thanks, do we need to run java 32-bit? Are all other components available as 64-bit? -Eric

Hi, can you run JasperServer incl JasperAnalysis on a 64 bit Windows OS? -Eric
  5. Hi, can you run the JasperServer suite as a service on a Windows Server OS? -Eric
  6. Hi All, I have not used jaspersoft software for a while. Is there today a design studio available for designing cubes, or do you still have to do it by manually coding xml? -Cheers
  7. Hi, I have not been using Jaspersoft BI products for a few years, is there now adays any standard functionality for setting permissions on data for example on regions in a olap view?
  8. Hi, I have seen a few issues (bugs) in 1.2 and we are discussing if we should upgrade to versions 1.2.1. Are there any release notes were changes from 1.2 to 1.2.1 are documented. This is business critical for us, and like most organisations we can not upgrade before we know that it solves our problems. We are looking forward to your response, Thanks in advance! /E Post edited by: jerics99, at: 2007/04/08 08:39
  9. Hi, We are using iReport and JasperIntelligence. I like to write a filter by using the Filter Expression feature in iReports Report Query window, a filter which is triggered when a user of a UserGroup in JasperIntelligence is accessing the report. How would the filter expression look like (if using the Expression editor)? Cheers!
  10. I seem to be close of getting my drill downs to work now. However I did not completely follow you in the previous posting. I am going to try the drilldown to work by using the example with the EmployeeAccounts report (as in your previous example). First of all is the value of the HyperlinkTypes field OK (HyperlinkType=Reference)? If pasting the code of previous posting to the Link Parameters Expression field, what should I call the Link Parameter (Value in Link Parameter Field)? What value should I use for the Hyperlink Reference Expression field (by using the Reference tab)? Cheers!
  11. Hi, see the attached an image showing how I implement the link through iReports. I can not add $F{id} within the "statement" as far as I understand, since "$F{id}" will be handled as a string. 12. I am using the hyperlink (tab Hyperlink)(iReports) settings of the field properties window to create a link (drill down) to a detailed report. The link I am using is working well. I am using hyperlink type: Reference I the reference text area I have defined the link I am using: “http://localhost:8081/ji-pro/flow.html?_flowId=viewReportFlow&reportUnit=/reports/johnsson3b&kpi=RR__120†The parameter used is named: kpi (RR__120, is the value I am sending to the detailed report) I have published the report unit johnsson3b to jasperserver with an input control named kpi. I would like to make the link dynamic! How would the url look to become dynamic and pass the value form the kpi field OR the parameter called kpi?
  13. Hi, How do you implement user rights to reports accessed through JasperServer? I have previously got the information that you create filters to your data set of your reports, and that the filters should be dependent (triggered by) the User Role. In the Report Query window in iReports (available through the menu: data/report query) there is a button could Filter expression, if using that editor can I create a filter that is triggered by user group at run time? Does anyone have an example of a filter that works (by accessing the reports through JasperServer)? Is there any best practices regarding user rights that you may share? Thanks, /E
  14. I got the information from reading postings in the forums that it is impossible to create drill-downs in reports without doing some customization programming. I just can not believe that this is true given that when you look at the Hyperlink tab in the Field Properties window, you see that there are for example ways of passing parameters with a link. I have made hyperlinks from my reports, And I can see that there are ways of passing parameters, why would it not be possible to link to a Report and sending a parameter (for example period)? To link from a report to another is really one of the most common BI functionalities, I just can not believe that this is not supported functionality. For your information; I am accessing my reports from JasperIntelligence. Best Regards, Eric
  15. Is there a web client that we can use to read reports created by JasperReports or i Reports?
