hi, Can anyone help me how to use scriptlets, i know we have to write java code to achieve certain conditions in designing report, but am confused a bit. i need an example , like in which situation it is useful and an example scirptlet, it helps me a lot, thanks to ur replies, rgds, smith.

hi, After creation of report using Groups, when any group element is selected in detailband, in the Evaluation Group combobox - its not displaying the corresponding group name from the combolist, even manually i select the relevant group name it will be temporarily displayed and after closing the report (i saved the report), again same problem exists, it happens for the "print when group changes" also , and am using ireport1.2.0.
