Hi all, In my requirenment query for sub report & master report are dynamic(changes for each user). supopose: select name_1234 , age_12,designation_34 from emp where empid = $P{empid} in the query name_1234 , age_23 etc changes for each users like name4567 ,age764. $p{empid} is supplied from master report. my problem is i am not able to add the dynamic filed to the sub report query by using $P{} or $P!{} it compiles smothly but it generates error while filling sub reports. I want to know there is any way to set the query value from the scriptlet similar to varable and parameter. I kindly request all the developers to send a solution to solve the problem Thankfully Yours Nagendra M
