Hi, I have some question regarding scheduling function on JasperServer. I would like to get report result via email only when there are record on it. It means that if there are no record, I don't want to blank page via email. Is it possible to set up scheduling with this requirement? Any advice will be highly appreciate, HK

Let me tell you my scnario first, and please let me know if it is possible or not with basic function of jasperreport. the report's output format is HTML, It will be included multiple parameter, so many line will be appeared. for example on sql> select doc_number, description, date, ....... from table I made Hyperlink/Anchor Name Expression for $F{DOC_Number} for doc_number field. I would like to put the parameter that I could make position using doc_number. So it make possible to show the doc_number from many records result pages. I know my explaination is poor, but hope you understand my problem. Anyone give me a tip & advice? Thanks in advance, HKJang

Hi I have a question how to use Date/Time Datatype on Jasperserver. I would like to use period parameter, so I defined two parameter on iReport as below. DATETIME_FROM : Class type is "java.sql.Timestamp" DATETIME_TO : Class type is "java.sql.Timestamp" On Sql ) to_char(convert_time(ss2s_log.event_gmt, 'GMT'), 'mm-dd-yyyy hh24:mi') between $P{DATETIME_FROM} and $P{DATETIME_TO} When I defined new datatype as Data/Time, if I choose any date, it is expressed like this 09-01-2008 17:07. I expected the format is okey to the query, but when I run report I got below error message. "Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01843: not a valid month" Would you please advice what I need to check? Any advice will be appreciate. Thanks, HKJang

Hi, I have one question regarding URL address of PDF that is generated from JS. For the testing, I run one report on JS and send it to email on output screen. In fact, The JS server address is http://mt2test.pkl.co.kr:8080, but when I check the email message, the URL is expressed as below. http://localhost:8080/jasperserver/fileview/fileview/ContentFiles/DAILY_WIP_STATUS.pdf Why it is get "localhost", not JS domain address. Hi I have a question regarding the parameter that is put with "in operator" on SQL. I like to use multi parameter, so I like to utilize "in operator" on SQL. For example, SQL in ireport will be "select emp_name from employee where emp_id = $P{emp_id}" (tried type: java.math.BigDecimal or java.lang.String) I defined one parameter emp_id on ireport. (class type : java.lang.String) When I run the report with single value like "111" it is run okey, But if I run with multi value like "111, 222" I got error message as below "ORA-01722: invalid number" Would you please advice how could I avoid error message? I have set "java.io.InputStream" for field of blob type, and set "java.io.InputStream" for image expression class. If I run it as PDF format, the result looks okey to extract image. But If I run it as HTML format, the link of image is break, Would you please advice, What I need to check? Regards, HKJang
