HI, Please check again your query is not correct. It soule be SELECT ANALYSIS_NAME, ANALYSIS_RESULT FROM ANALYSIS WHERE RECEIVED_DATE = TO_DATE($P{START_DATE}, 'MM/DD/YYYY') also verfy the parameter. May be problem with qouts which is required in the query.

Hi All, I'm using file CSV datasource. I need to use double quotes as field separator. My CSV file looks like: test1"test2"test3 test4"test5"test6 When I compile and execute the JRXML file, the ouput is as follows: blank test3 null blank test6 null Instead, I should get like this: (Proper Output) test1 test2 test3 test4 test5 test6 The same JRXML gives the proper output when I use |,^,# or ' as field separators.. Thank You for your suggestion. :) When I exported my report to pdf and clicked on the email address, its opening both email client as well as internet explorer. I want only email client to be opened. I'm not able to understand why both email client and internet explorer are getting opened. :dry:

Hi All, I have a email id in my report. When I click on that email id, the email client say for example outlook or lotus notes should open. How can I achieve this?

Hi All, I am not sure whether it is possible in Jasper Report or not. I wanted to embed SWF(Flash) file and SVG file in my jasper report using jasper API. Similarly like we embed JPG and GIF files in our report for logo. Please let me know if anybody has tried this. Best Regards: Ritesh Kumar

Did someone of you ever tried to embed Corda into JasperReport? I wanted to know if is it possible to develop charts using Corda and embed the charts into JasperReport and generate PDF using JRPDFExporter? What are the possible ways of achieving this? Thanks

Hi All, I want to change legend orientation for pie chart. By default the orientation is Horizontal below the pie chart. i want to make it vertical and right side parallel to the pie chat as a tabular form where col#1 legend label, col#2 legend value, col#3 percentage. I AM NOT MUTCH SURE WHAT YOU WANT BECAUSE ITS NOT CLEAR FOR ME. BUT I WANT TO TELL YOU ONE THING IF YOU ARE CREATING GROUP THEN IREPORT AUTOMATICALLY CREATES VARIABLE FRO GROUP TOTAL YOU CAN USE THAT VARIABLE. I HOPE THIS WILL HELPFUL FOR YOU :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Hi, I did it by using cross tab where i created group so that i was able to calculate group total as well as grant total. second option is using sub report we can also achieve it. hope it will help full for you. Regards: Ritesh Kumar

You can define one text field in iReport and type cast your oracle timestamps value in to string using toString () method and print as it is in iReport. Hope it will help you.:)

You can use scriptlets for this task which will suppress the column and reposition the other columns. We also encountered the same problem so we used other approach creating reports on the fly. we took the already designed jasper file loaded it as jasper object and then by using jasper API's and java we modified the jasper object then compiled the modified jasper object and filed. you can use subdatasets for diffrent queries in a same report.

We also faced the same problem here i wanted to show data in specific pattern and if data is not there then it has to print NO_DATA the problem was if i use text field class double then i can't print NO_DATA and if i make it string then i can't achive result in desire pattern format. We created java class for this it will take value and always return string data type if its null then it returns NO_DATA else formated value in string formate.
