hi i make my static text field as markup element and set its value to "styled" and set my text as <b> my topic </b> but it's not working for pdf format.

I mean with static report template that mean data on report is not change. all field are static text type fields. 1. i tried with empty datasource but it's not working when i click on preview pop up come up with no page to display.However when i give query with select * from dual with active datasouce it's working fine. 2. I m using jasper and ireport 3.5.1 version i can not see any option with "styled text" checkbox under Text property.

Hi, 1. I want to create report without query string. my report template is static how can i do that? 2. How can i make some text in static text field bold and some are not bold?
