Hi, I'm trying to pass JRBeanCollection datasource to my subreport. the expression is as followsnew net.sf.jasperreports.engine.data.JRBeanCollectionDataSource(new ArrayList(Arrays.asList(new com.RangeObject("jj",8),new com.RangeObject("ll",8)))) But this is not renderring the subreport. Hi, I have aroubd 80 derived tables in my domain design. now if I make any changes to derived and try to save,"loding" popup is displayed and is never saved. what might be the issue? regards

Hi, I used js-export for some of the ad-hoc reports which are scheduled to run everyday. when the reports where import on production env, the reports did not have the scheduled job. is this a bug or are we missing something? regards,

Hi, PLEASE REPLY AT LEAST "YES" or "NO" I tried with simple queries which work using applicationContext-semanticLayer.xml file. (simple functions) But not for few complex queries. am I correct ?

I'm trying to use EJBQL connection in iReport 4.0.1 the demo sample sampledemoejbql works when executed with ant script. But I'm trying to use the same in iReport as follows Jar files Movie,Cast etc into CustomDB.jar with persistence.xml file, set classapth for the toplink-essentails.jar and toplink-essentials-agent.jar which is shipped along with the demo sample. put the customDB.jar in /ireport/platform9/lib directory opent iReport, create EJBQL with persistence unit name as "pu1" But, I get "Varia" class not found exception. Any help ? Also adding .... All databases will have same schema defined. Just swtiching the datasource in JS Domain should let report work across different DB's. Help on this issue is much appreciated.

Hi All, Please let me know if I can design ad-hoc reports (derived table,claculated fielda etc) such that the reports works across different datasource. i.e, If I have created a ad-hoc report on mssql server , the same should also work if change the datasource to Oracle/db2/mysql. Is this possible?

Hi All, How to implement COUNT(col1) in ad-hoc report? I created a calulated field to this, but it throws "exception getting data from cache" error, when listed with other fileds. if the count feild is the only colum, then its only 1 row is returned. Please help.

I'm trying to create a calulated field. the calculated field is an nested case statement. CASE WHEN arg1= 0 THEN 'Active' ELSE CASE WHEN arg1= 9 THEN 'notactive' ELSE CASE WHEN arg1= 10 THEN 'deleted' ELSE NULL END END END I edited the applicationContext-semanticLayer.xml file and included the following : <bean id="sqlserverGenerator" parent="defaultSQLGenerator" scope="prototype"><property name="functionTemplates"> <map merge="true"> <entry key="multiCaseStatement"><value>"if(" + sqlArgs[0] + " ==0,'Active',if(" + sqlArgs[1] + " ==9,'notactive',if(" + sqlArgs[2] + " ==10,'deleted','')))"</value></entry> But this is not working. Even we're getting same exception with the following query. SELECT col1, col2, count(col3) FROM table1, table2 WHERE (condition...) GROUP BY col1, col2 ORDER BY 1, 2 We tried this without order by clause also. Request your help on this issue. Thanks

Hi, I am generating svg images using corda...these images are pie chart,bar charts.Then I embed these images into PDF using jasperreports. I'm using hevetica fonts in corda. It looks good in windows,but when I ran my program in linux box,the font looks different,hence alignment looks bad. Please find the enclosed PDF. I checked svg images ,it does not have alignment issue. But when the program embeds this svg images into pdf, there is alignment issue. I'm embeding svg images into PDF using batik renderer. Please fin the sample pdf and also images enclosed. Request help.
