I started with iReport-0.3.0, have installed iReport-1.3.3 and today just installed iReport-2.0.1. All three versions are still in my notebook running Windows XP. When I (a) create a new report, (b) add a SQL query, © add in a crosstab at the title band and (d) compile/execute the report, I encounter the error net.sf.jasperreports.engine.JRException: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Attribute "name" is required and must be specified for element type "crosstab". at net.sf.jasperreports.engine.xml.JRXmlLoader.loadXML(JRXmlLoader.java:243) at net.sf.jasperreports.engine.xml.JRXmlLoader.loadXML(JRXmlLoader.java:226) at it.businesslogic.ireport.IReportCompiler.loadJasperDesign(IReportCompiler.java:1937) at it.businesslogic.ireport.IReportCompiler.run(IReportCompiler.java:580) Where did I go wrong? This occured with 1.3.3 and 2.0.1 How do I check which version of JasperReports that I am using? Thanks =================== REVISED / UPDATED =================== The above error was cleared when I removed the file "config.xml" from the folder "C:/Documents and Settings/Lee Hock Hin/.ireport" ===================== Post edited by: leehockhin, at: 2007/09/21 08:38 Post edited by: leehockhin, at: 2007/09/21 08:40
