  • Connecting to Amazon RDS/Redshift from a remote TIBCO JasperReports® Server fails

    Issue

    When trying to create an AWS Data Source on TIBCO JasperReports® Server you are seeing the following error message:

    Possible cause and solution

    A probable cause for this type of error message is that the automatic access rules setup for this JasperReports Server instance is disabled in Cloud Settings. Log in as superuser, then go to Manage -> Server Settings -> Cloud Settings, and make sure the the following property is checked:
