Backward-Compatibility between Jaspersoft Studio 5.6 and the Library and Server

If you are using Jaspersoft Studio 5.6 or greater and connecting to the same version of JasperReports Server, there is nothing to configure.

Because Jaspersoft Studio now includes backward compatibility options for the library and server, if you are using Jaspersoft Studio 5.6 or greater and an older version of JasperReports Server, make the following change to the connection URL in the JasperReports Server Access Configuration window of the Server Profile wizard:
