Hi there. I am using iReport 0.0.8 and when I try to test a mysql database connection, a small window pops up with CreateProcess and then a NullPointerException gets thrown at com/businesslogic/ireport/ui/DBConnectionForm.buttonTest_click.

All the fields are populated.

Also, if I go into Report Query and attempt to Read Fields, another CreateProcess window pops up and the ElaborationForm status bar just increases to maximum and then starts at 0 again. Please help! :) Thanks.

Hey again. I actually got the connection semi-working.

 

However, for some reason, even though the connection url points to a different machine, the test points to my local machine and then the test fails, of course

 

Any suggestions?
