iReport -> Report Wizard ->JavaBean set DataSource

I am not sure it was a correct solution or not,

but it works w/i me.

 

Ex>

Step_1

Your bean package & classname:

idv.prancius.bean.ReportBean

 

Step_2

Create a folder named "classes" at iReport home path

Such as C:iReportclasses

 

Step_3

Create full path for your bean at classes

Like C:iReportclassesidvpranciusbeanReportBean

 

Step_4

Put your bean class file here (Step_3)

 

Step_5

In iReport, JavaBean DataSource, type full

package & classname of your bean at text field

of "Class name"

 

Step_6

Click [Read attributes] button~

hi,

 

I have a same problem JavaBean datasource , currently i am using ireport 3.7.6 ,

My IReport installed path is "D:\Program Files\Jaspersoft\iReport-3.7.6" , My custom java bean is com.test.user.StudentBean

1. I had created a folder in D:\Program Files\Jaspersoft\iReport-3.7.6\classes\com\test\user\

2. And placed the StudetBean.class into the above path.

Error

Then i gave te class name in the JavaBean datasource wizard,  i got class not found error !

please provide me a solution.
