2005 IR Help
By: Steve Wood - stephen_m_wood Using HTML in report design 2004-12-29 10:46 Hi guys, If I use HTML directly in the report design XML, it is displayed back as HTML in the browser (i.e. the user sees the HTML tags). Is there a way to override this so I can send HTML into jasper and use that HTML to format the output? I don't need absolute positioning etc - I just want to use HTML formatting. Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers, Steve
bdrnotixia.com
I am looking for the same feature. I need to generate printable reports where the user can add some html text....
Teodor Danciu
Hi, Check the /demo/samples/markup sample provided with the JR project package. But since we are talking about a text field element feature, don't expect HTML layout tags such as tables or divs to work (or even images for that matter). I hope this helps.Teodor
