Fill reports in batch on Solaris

I would like to schedule report filling and PDF generation on Solaris.

I tried to do this using JasperFillManager (as for the Jasper sample) but I get the following error:

 

X connection to myserver:11.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).

 

I think that AWT classes are used during the fill process and that they require an active X terminal.

Is there a way to avoid this error on Solaris?

Try this:

To run our environment with a headless implementation, the following property may be specified at the java command line:

-Djava.awt.headless=true
