Hi,

 

I am designing a report that is going to generate invoices. I need some information to be placed on the top and on the bottom of every page.

 

I thought I could use the background element to make it - but then I have the "detail" printing ontop of the background text. Unfortunately I cannot increase the margins and setup a background that is bigger then the page without the margins...

In fact, I need "header" and "footer" to be placed

at some precise position. I thing the easiest way would be to alloy background to be as big as the page. Then I could use the margins to protect the

area accupied by the header and footer.

 

any idea or help on this topic?
