Sombody knows how can i show a field according to a type ie: if type is 1 show field X else if type is 2 show field Y...

Add a variable and in the print when expression type something like following:

 

$F{TYPE}==1? "X":"Y"

You can play around with this syntax to add multiple if then else statements. Hope this helps.
