Blank Page With "IB" When Printing in IE

I have a web-page with a button. This button is sitting on a frame. The button is controlled by Javascript - its purpose being; to target another frame and the embedded object sitting in it, then print it. The embedded object is a Jasper generated PDF file.

 

When the button is clicked the javascript targets the PDF, bypasses the print dialog box and prints the PDF.

 

However, when it gets to the printer it prints a blank page ... totally blank EXCEPT for the letters "IB" in the top-hand corner of the page.

 

This DOES happen if you just print in Internet explorer and use the dialogue to print the PDF. I can't seem to figure it out.

 

ANY ideas?
