New browser page when hyperlink clicked

2004-09-22 07:38

I would like to know, is it possible to open a new browser page when hyperlink is selected. If it is possible, please direct me to any examples or please let me know how to do it.

Thank you, in advance.

In the demo/samples/hyperlink folder from the JR .zip file there is an example of how to open a browser (web page) from JasperViewer.

I think I was not clear on my question posted. I am generating the report successfully. I got a column named reference that displays the reference number of a customer and the ref. number is a hyperlink to customer details.

So my question is, can I open a separate window from the one that is displaying the report, when the hyperlink is clicked?

Ok,, I get you. I dont think Jasper can currently handle links to external resources so what you have

to do is add a JRHyperlinkListener. Dont know how to do this unfortunately.

Maybe someone else?
