Hi,

 

I have a report that displays lines of text that are grouped. If the number of lines in one grouping will not fit on the current page, it spills over to the next page. The number of lines printed for each grouping is dynamic, so I do not know the maximum height that they will take up. I would like if all the lines of a grouping do not fit on the current page, it will start on a new page. The report template uses one group and a detail section. I have searched the forum but couldn't find a satisfactory answer. Thanks for any help.

It seems that what you describe is already handled by Jasper. Perhaps you could elaborate? What is it doing now that is unsatisfactory?

Sorry, The line should read:

 

I would like if all the lines of a grouping do not fit on the current page, the entire group with all its lines will start on a new page.
