Problem exporting Report as HTML

I tried running the demo HtmlServlet with a datasource connecting to MySQl using JDBC. The report loads and gets displayed correctly the first time. However, if the report is very large, and I am displaying it using IE, the browser just hangs or shuts down even if I hit reload. The problem does not occur with Netscape, however.

Any ideas as to what I am missing out on ?
