Hi there,

 

I've been experiencing some problems with multiple columns in JasperReports. I have a report with three columns, and have set it to print the data horizontally. I`ve also set the text field to stretch on overflow. The problem is that the text field does not stretch ... Then, I tried to change the properties back to print the result vertically, and it works fine.

 

Is this a bug of the tool? Or there is any other way to make this work?

What I would like to achieve is to print data in my three columns, and when any text bigger than the text field should make it stretch. The optimal result would be to stretch all fields on that line, so that all text fields on the same line are alined. Is this possible?
