Frames with HTML export

I always thought that frames were a replacement for rectangles, but when i replaced the rectangles in my report template with frames, these frames do not show up in the html view. Any hint why ?

Frames are special elements that can contain other report elements, while having their own background and border. Therefore, frames are not merely a replacement for rectangles, but rather something between ractangles and element groups (or bands, if you like).

 

Replacing a rectangle by a frame also involves moving the elements that were placed on top of the rectangle inside the frame. Note that inner element coordinates are relative to the frame and not the band.
