print PDF on client printer

Hello,

 

I try to directly print a document on client printer.

 

I tried with JasperPrintManager.printPage, but this opens a printer window on the server side, not on the client side... Does someone know how to do this ?

 

Note : I does not want to open the document with acrobat reader on the client side

i don't think this is possible, without having the client make a request. surely this would need to be built into the operating system? maybe you could write a daemon on the client that checks for the document on the server and prints it when it's timestamp is updated, but i don't believe jasper can help you with this.
