I'd like to add bookmarks to a pdf document.

 

I found this in the release notes for 1.0.1 but I can't find any reference to how to make use of it.

 

- support for generating PDF bookmarks from report anchors using a new "bookmarkLever"

attribute available for hyperlink elements;

 

Does anyone have any experience with this feature?

You can check the JRXML reference, for example see this:

Also, a couple of the samples distributed with JR produce PDF bookmarks, you can check the data source sample for instance.

Thanks for the tip. I found an example in the csvdatasource sample if anyone else is looking for something similar.
