Help - JasperReports 0.2.x - Page Breaks

Hello,

 

I am using Jasper Reports 0.2.x right now, and am not in the position to update to the most current version at this time. I am curious if someone can help me solve a problem I've been facing regarding page breaks. I have created a dummy group, and in this dummy group, have set isStartNewPage="true"

 

This did not create a page break, so I thought that I could create a temporary solution by inserting a white rectangle large enough to cause a page break, but for some reason any time I try to compile the jrxml file, it will not compile if the report ends up being greater than 1 page. Does anyone have any possible idea why this is happening?
